Michael is a lucky husband to his wife, his greatest supporter and inspiration. He is a proud dad to his son, the result of IVF after significant fertility struggles. He is also a dog dad to his ball-obsessed German Shepherd and late Miniature Poodle.

He writes fantasy novels and leads a local writing critique group. He enjoys walking his dog, exploring new bookstores, drinking too much coffee, and cherishing time with his wife.

He was born and raised in rural Tennessee. He later obtained a BS in Biochemistry, but has always had an artistic flair for illustration and writing. 

​

He began writing as a way to cope with his mental health struggles and past trauma. Now, he wants his life experience and passion for telling stories to help others find their way in a world that so often seems to want people to get lost in it.
